The priest arrived first, his arm in a sling and scratches across his face.
âI found the bear by the river,â he said proudly. âI read passages from the Bible, sprinkled holy water on him, and after a long discussion⌠the bear accepted the faith.â
Next came the minister, walking with a limp and covered in bandages.
âIt was difficult,â he admitted. âThe bear chased me up a tree twice. But eventually, I sang hymns, shared my testimony, and baptized him in the lake.â
Finally, they heard a groan from outside. The rabbi was wheeled in on a hospital bed, wrapped head to toe in casts.
The priest and minister rushed over.
âWhat happened?!â they cried.
The rabbi sighed painfully and said,
âIn hindsight⌠maybe I shouldnât have started with circumcision.âÂ
