Arthur smiles and says,
“I wasn’t worried about my heart… I was worried about remembering where my room was!”
His best man bursts out laughing, nearly spilling his coffee.
“But seriously,” he says, “what’s your secret?”
Arthur takes a slow sip of tea and grins.
“My boy, at our age, you stop trying to impress the world and start enjoying the moment.”
Just then, the young bride walks into the breakfast hall, smiling brightly. She waves at Arthur and calls,
“Good morning, darling! Ready for our sightseeing tour?”
The best man stares in disbelief.
Arthur winks and stands up.
“See? A happy heart keeps a man young.”
And with that, the 80-year-old gentleman walked away arm in arm with his bride—still whistling his tune and leaving everyone at the buffet smiling.
